What is the Give Peace a Chance - The Art of John Lennon?

This exhibition showcases art that John Lennon created throughout his life all the way from childhood to his passing in 1980. The works portray a strong message of unity and peace. People from all generations, especially now,  connect and relate to the content in the exhibit. Art was another one of Lennon’s most significant passions. He studied at the Liverpool Art Institute from I957 – I960. For Yoko Ono’s and Lennon’s wedding in ‘69, John drew the “Bag One” Portfolio, which chronicled their wedding festivities and their famous “Bed-In” which was their plea for world peace.

“His peace-themed sketches were elevated through their use in antiwar movements, beginning in the 1970s and continuing to the present day.”
